Opening of Christmas Market at the Town Hall Square
Performance of the Dream Engine from UK with air acrobatics, music and lights effects. More about the Dream Engine: www.thedreamengine.co.uk . Duration of event – 30 min.
Christmas Market willl be organised in Vilnius Town Hall square for the first time. It will be open every day from 13:00 to 20:00 till the 29th of December.
Visitors can enjoy handicraft souvenirs, unique museum of coffee (sofa), Christmas post.

Lighting the Christmas Tree at the Town Hall Square
Illuminating the Christmas tree is a favourite event of the residents of Vilnius and its visitors marking the start of the Christmas festivities in the capital city.
This year Christmas tree will be 10 metres high construction with handmade decorations of children.
At the same time (16:00) the Christmas tree will be illuminated at the Cathedral Square.
18 December
13:00 – 18:00 Christmas tree branches will be given to the citizens of Vilnius

Crib Consecration Ceremony
The crib regards as the symbol of Christmas. It reminds us the values, celebrated by this holiday – the family, the love to your neighbor, compassion, unity, hope, and the gift of the new beginning. We invite you to celebrate these values together, attending the ceremony of consecration of the Crib at the Vilnius’ Cathedral Square.
